Portables without a discreet graphics card should ideally be connected to a mains power supply in high performance mode. All laptop models that have turning off a discreet graphics card as a power saving option should ideally have this feature disabled if not using a mains power supply.
Some net books have customized versions of Windows with extreme power management features that may not be supported, so we cannot guarantee Netbook support.
